Spinning and calls

Getting from Spin to a face, and what to do when a call misbehaves.

How do I start?

Tap Spin on the AnonSpin home page. Your browser asks for camera and microphone access the first time, then the wheel looks for someone who is online.

My browser did not ask for the camera, or I said no by mistake.

Open your browser’s site settings for this website, allow camera and microphone, then reload the page. On phones, also check that the browser itself is allowed to use the camera in your system settings.

Why can I not tap Next straight away?

In a random match, Next unlocks after a short countdown so every chat gets at least a few seconds. You can always end the chat instead.

A call keeps freezing or failing. What should I check?

Check your connection first, then your browser permissions for the camera and microphone, and close other apps that might be using the camera. Also check that calling is currently available on your account.

Can I turn off my camera or microphone during a chat?

Yes. Open More on the call screen to switch your microphone or camera off and on again without ending the chat.

How do I find someone again after a good chat?

Follow them during the chat. Spins are random, so following is the reliable way to reach the same person again.

Account and login

Signing in, passwords and keeping your account safe.

How do I create an account or sign in?

Use one of the login options shown in the app. Depending on what is available, that may be email or a supported third-party sign-in.

I forgot my password.

Use the forgot password option and follow the verification steps. You need access to the email address linked to your account.

Why is my account restricted, or why can I not log in?

Access can be limited if we detect unusual activity, a security risk, a rule breach or a problem with your account status. Sometimes extra verification is needed before access comes back.

How do I keep my account secure?

Never share your login details, avoid signing in on devices you do not trust, change your password when needed, and contact us quickly if you think someone else got in.

Profile and content

Editing your profile, posting, and why things get rejected.

What can I change on my profile?

Depending on the tools available to you: your photo, display name, username, bio, linked accounts and other profile details.

Why was my photo, nickname or profile rejected?

Profile content is rejected if it contains anything prohibited, misleading, abusive, promotional or that exposes someone’s privacy. The House Rules list exactly what is not allowed where.

What can I post?

Depending on what is switched on, you may be able to post videos, photos, moments and comments, publicly or to fewer people.

Why was my post removed, limited or not approved?

Content is restricted when it breaks the rules, contains unsafe or infringing material, reveals sensitive personal information, or raises security, legal or moderation concerns.

Messages and matching

Chatting and how matching behaves.

How do I message someone?

If messaging is available to you and the other person can receive messages, open the conversation and type.

Why can I not send a message or open a chat?

Messaging can be off because of an account restriction, interaction limits, the other person’s settings, or temporary safety controls.

Why does matching behave differently at times?

Matching connects people in real time, so results depend on who is online, your account status, our rules and how the matching system works at that moment.

Coins, VIP and payments

Purchases, delivery and refunds.

What can I pay for?

Depending on availability: coins, VIP, gifts, paid content and other premium features. Prices are shown before you buy.

I paid, but nothing has arrived yet.

Confirmation can be delayed by your connection, the payment provider, order checks or a short sync delay. Check the payment result page first, then contact us with your order details if it still has not arrived.

Where can I see what I bought?

In your wallet, VIP pages, purchase history or other account areas, depending on what you bought.

Can I get a refund?

It depends on the purchase terms, the rules for that product, the payment status and the law where you live. See Payments in our Terms of Service.

Clubs and community

Group spaces and how to behave in them.

What are clubs for?

Clubs let people gather and talk around a topic or a group of friends inside the app.

Why can I not create or join a club?

It can depend on your account status, eligibility, moderation rules, review results or whether clubs are available to you right now.

Why was a club name, photo or introduction rejected?

Club content is rejected when it includes prohibited language, advertising, unsafe material, impersonation, discrimination, privacy risks or anything else the House Rules forbid.

How should I behave in clubs?

The same way as anywhere else on the app: respect people, no harassment or discrimination, nothing illegal or abusive.

Safety and reports

Reporting problems and what we do about them.

How do I report someone?

Use the report option whenever you meet abuse, scams, harassment, impersonation, someone who may be underage, or anything else against the rules. In a live chat, end the chat first, then report.

What happens after I report?

Reports go through our moderation and risk checks. Depending on how serious it is, we may warn the person, remove content, limit features, suspend the account or take stronger action.

How does blocking work?

Where it is available, blocking stops unwanted contact from a person. Exactly what it covers depends on the feature and your account.

Why was my account or a feature limited?

Limits can follow rule breaches, payment abuse, unsafe behaviour, repeated reports, unusual activity or other security and compliance reasons.

Privacy and rules

Which page answers which question.

How is my data handled?

The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and share it, cookies, how long we keep it, your rights and how we protect it.

Where are the rules for using the app?

The Terms of Service cover accounts, acceptable use and enforcement. The House Rules list what is allowed on camera, in profiles and in clubs.
